Strength and fragility coexist in the figure’s outline, echoing the artist’s ongoing exploration of vulnerability. Made during a time of working through personal challenges, the act of returning to the studio marked a step toward renewal. 

 

The paint is messy and confused, the wool that trails downward hangs limp and unresolved.
